# Filing rejected

Sent when a court rejects a filing.

Rhetoric dispatches this event after the court completes its review and
rejects the filing. It follows a prior
[Filing submitted](/api-reference/webhooks/filing-submitted) event for the
same filing.

## Payload

  A unique ID for this event.
</ResponseField>

  The environment the event occurred in. One of `live` or `test`.
</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="occurred_at" type="string">
  The time the event occurred, in RFC 3339 format.
</ResponseField>

    <ResponseField name="event" type="string">
      Always `filing_rejected`.
    </ResponseField>

    <ResponseField name="filing_id" type="string">
      The ID of the filing that was rejected.
